The unit comprises of a sturdy powder coated steel frame with a separate lifting frame for connecting to and lifting the big bag. The lifting frame, with big bag suspended below, can be raised into position in the frame by fork lift or electric hoist.
Operation
The big bag is first positioned in front of the frame on its pallet. The operator then lowers the lifting frame over the big bag and attaches the loops of the big bag to the hooks on the frame. The bag is then raised using the fork lift or electric hoist to a height where its base is higher than the top of the discharge hopper. Once at this height the operator can easily attach the big bag above the discharge hopper and untie the discharge tube, to release the material into the discharge hopper.
