Pelletron DeDusters - Overview


Pelletron DeDusters use a magnetic flux field to disrupt the electrostatic charge between contaminants and pellets, and a patented air wash deck to separate and remove contaminants.

Pelletron DeDusters are much more compact than an elutriator and can also remove the fine dust created during dense phase conveying, elutriators often do not remove this fine dust effectively.

Applications

Plastics Industry -

Cleaning of granules prior to packaging or discharge to tanker for transport
Cleaning of regrind
Central cleaning of material prior to conveying to processing machines
Cleaning of material at the throat of the processing machine.

DeDusting of pills and tablets prior to packing

DeDusting of Iron ore to reduce deposits on blast furnace walls.
