XP5 DeDuster
The XP5 DeDuster is designed to fit in spaces where the height available for installation is limited. The overall height of the unit is only 508 mm yet it is still capable of processing over 500 kg/hr of material.
The DeDuster works well with both regrind or virgin materials effectively removing both dust and angel hair removing dust particles as small as 1 micron.
How it works
The product must flow into the DeDuster in a controlled way, this can be achieved using a simple slide valve if the material is free flowing or if you are processing a material which is not free flowing it is best to feed the DeDuster using a rotary valve.
The well-proven electromagnetic coil breaks the static bond between the pellet and the smaller dust particles.
The adjustable inlet deflector distributes the product on to the wash decks evenly providing a smooth flow of material. The filtered wash air produced by a high efficiency fan is passed through the slots in the wash decks where it efficiently removes dust and streamers. From the upper wash deck the material flows through the venturi zone, this area is designed to remove longer angel hair and heavier particles. The velocity of the air in this region can be adjusted with the by-pass air damper.
The above features result in a high cleaning efficiency with the minimum loss of good material.
